WPT Global review
The World Poker Tour Global poker room offers players from nearly 100 countries access to cash games in NLH and Short Deck, as well as MTTs, PLO, and WPT Global Spins (Spin & Go).
The main currencies of the room are US dollars ($) and yuan (¥). The exchange rate as of 16:00 GMT on March 29, 2024, is $1 = ¥7.22.
Cash games are divided into four categories based on limits — Micro, Low, Mid, and High — each with different rake percentages and caps. Available limits vary between disciplines:
- NLH — from NL5 to NL20K (12 dollar limits, 11 yuan limits);
- PLO — 12 dollar limits from PL10 to PL20K, 9 yuan limits from PL20 to PL20K;
- Short Deck — 13 yuan limits, with antes ranging from ¥0.02 to ¥500;
- PACE — 3 yuan limits, differing in blind sizes: 0.2/0.5, 1/2, and 5/10.
Some cash tables have jackpots: 5% goes to the winner of a hand with Four of a Kind, 20% with a Straight Flush, and 50% with a Royal Flush.
At WPT Global, there are special BOMB cash tables. At these tables, every ~12 minutes, the pot is inflated by taking 8 antes from each player preflop. An example of a BOMB table with a limit of ¥2 for Short Deck is shown in the screenshot below.
Tournaments on WPT Global are currently presented in two categories — MTTs and satellites. There are both freerolls and paid tournaments with buy-ins ranging from ¥11 to $550 and guarantees up to $100K. Primarily, tournament players are offered Hold’em, but you can also find Omaha and Short Deck with buy-ins from $2 to $109. Tournaments start throughout the day, but most are scheduled between 15:00 and 05:00 GMT.
The room does not have detachable tournament lobby — all information is presented in the form of a small “insert” in the general lobby, and the observation mode is not available.
Since 2023, WPT Global also offers Global Spins — here, players compete at 3-max tables for a random prize pool. As of spring 2024, there are 6 buy-ins available: $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, and $100. The rake in all tournaments is 5%, with an additional 1% retained by the room for each Spin’s jackpot.
The features of all Spins are the same:
- Format — 3-max;
- Multipliers — from x2 to x6,000;
- Blinds increase every 6 hands up to 10 level (200/400), after which they stop increasing;
- Starting stack varies from 20 BB to 50 BB depending on the multiplier.

Deposit and cashout on WPT Global
Deposits in the room are not subject to any fees, and the available methods depend on the player’s region — primarily Skrill, NETELLER, Visa, bank transfers, as well as cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, LTC, and others.
Withdrawals are processed within up to 5 business days, with no fee charged only if the deposit has been wagered at least once — otherwise, the room reserves the right to charge a fee of 8%, but not less than €4.
The minimum withdrawal amount is €10, and the maximum is €10K. However, if your balance exceeds the total deposit amount by 10 times or more, the limit will be reduced to €5K.
Important: to conduct transactions with the room, you need to undergo verification through the KYC (Know Your Customer) system — the room requests confirmation of identity, address, and payment method. Additionally, the security service reserves the right to request unscheduled confirmation of the listed data at any time.
How to register on WPT Global
Step 1. Go to the WPT Global website. Click on the “Go” button at the top of the page, and on the opened page, click on the “Download Now” or “Register Now” button. You will be automatically redirected to the download page.
Step 2. Install and launch the downloaded app. Click on the WPTG.exe file in your downloads folder. Allow the system to install the program, follow all installation steps, and launch the application.
Step 3. Begin creating your account. In the opened window, click the “REGISTER” button. Enter your email address and click “GET CODE.” A verification code will be sent to your email — paste it into the appropriate field.
Step 4. Fill in your personal information. In the new window, you need to specify your country, create a username, and set a password. All of this information is mandatory — registration cannot proceed without it.
WPT Global FAQ
— Are trackers and/or HUDs allowed on WPT Global?
No, the use of trackers, HUDs, and any third-party software is prohibited in the room. Moreover, you can’t have them running on background for other rooms — WPT Global can limit access to games for you if you do so.
— Is the use of VPN allowed on WPT Global?
No — the Terms and Conditions of the room explicitly state that by registering in it, the user agrees not to use VPNs, proxies, devices, or any other means to disguise their real location.
— Can you play on WPT Global from any country in the world?
The list of countries from which you can play on WPT Global is strictly limited. You can find out if your country is included during registration or from Pokeroff VIP manager.
